If your agency builds and runs websites for local businesses, pick by what each client needs beyond the site. LotsBusiness covers the website, the Google Business Profile steps, business email with unlimited mailboxes and client hand-over for $4.30 per client a month on its 25-client plan (billed yearly). For full white-label, look at Duda or 10Web.
I opened every vendor's own pricing and product pages on 19 October 2026 and judged each builder on what a local-client agency actually runs into: what one client costs at 5 and at 25 clients, whether the Google Business Profile, business email and directory listings are part of it, how clients approve work, what happens when a client wants to own everything, and how far white-label goes. Prices are US dollars, before tax, billed yearly unless I say otherwise. Sources are at the end.
The best website builders for agencies at a glance
| Builder | How it's priced | Per client a month, 5 clients | Per client a month, 25 clients | Google Business Profile | Business email | Client approval and hand-over | White-label |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LotsBusiness | Per business: 1, 5 or 25 on a plan | $6.50 (Pro) | $4.30 (Business) | Create and verify step by step, or link an existing one, then post | Included, unlimited mailboxes at the client's domain | Approval links with no account; hand-over moves business, site and domain | Hide the "Made with LotsBusiness" line per site |
| Duda | Per account plus extra sites | $13.20 (Agency, 4 sites included, then $168 a site a year) | $13.84 (Agency) | Not listed on the pricing page | Not listed on the pricing page | Client accounts with permissions, site comments | Full platform white-label on White Label ($149 a month) |
| Wix Studio | Per site plan | Not quoted (prices vary by location) | Not quoted | Not listed on the Studio page | Google Workspace, bought separately | Customizable client handovers, custom roles | Not listed on the Studio page |
| 10Web | Per site, agency bundles | $8.50 (Agency Starter, 10 sites) | About $4.00 (Agency Core, 20 sites plus $4 a site) | Not listed on the pricing page | Not listed on the pricing page | Client management | Branded dashboard and builder, client billing on Agency Core |
| GoDaddy Airo | Per account with site caps | $5.00 (Professional, up to 10 sites) | $4.00 (Ultimate, up to 50 sites) | Third-party connector on Professional and Ultimate | Microsoft 365, sold per mailbox | "Hand off finished projects to clients" on Ultimate | Not listed |
| Squarespace | Per site | $19 (Basic) | $19 (Basic) | Not listed on the pricing page | 1 Google Workspace account free for year one, on select plans | Not listed on the pricing page | Not listed; Circle partner program |
| Durable | Per business | $22 (Launch) | $22 (Launch) | Included on Launch and Grow | Not listed on the pricing page | Transfer a site by changing account and billing | Not listed |
| Hostinger Website Builder | Per account, 48-month prepay for the lowest rate | $0.70 (Unlimited, $167.52 upfront for 48 months) | $0.14 (same plan) | Not listed on the builder page | 1GB mailboxes free for year one, then $0.59 a mailbox a month | Not listed on the builder page | Not listed |
GoDaddy's prices are first-year annual prices; its page doesn't show what they renew at. Hostinger's plan renews at $16.99 a month after the 48 months. "Not listed" means I didn't find it on the vendor's own pricing or product page on 19 October 2026, not that it can't be done.
1. LotsBusiness: website, Google, email and hand-over in one price per client
I built LotsBusiness for the job most local clients actually hire an agency for: get them online and found. The paid unit is a business, so each client is one business in your workspace, and every client gets the same full package:
- A professional website. Start from a ready-made design for the client's trade (salon, plumber, clinic, cafe) and the name, services, hours and photos fill in. Change texts, colours and pages without code, preview, publish. Hosting and HTTPS are included. Every version is kept, so you can roll back, and a quality and safety check runs before anything goes live. You can download a site as files at any time.
- Their own web address. A free
yourname.lotssite.comaddress while you build, then connect the domain the client already owns with one DNS record. They keep the domain where it is. LotsBusiness doesn't sell domains. - On Google Search and Maps. Create the client's Google Business Profile step by step and follow Google's own verification, or link the profile they already have. Then post offers, events and updates. Google decides verification and ranking, so nobody can honestly promise a position, and I don't.
- Set up so Google and AI assistants can read it. Every page carries the business's services, hours, area and contact details in the structured format search engines and assistants like ChatGPT read, with the sitemap and llms.txt added automatically.
- Business email at the client's own name. info@ and a mailbox for every staff member at the client's domain, unlimited mailboxes once the domain is connected. No per-mailbox bill to resell.
- Enquiries in one place. Contact-form messages arrive by email and in the dashboard, spam filtered, with an optional WhatsApp button and tap-to-call bar.
- Directory listings, guided. LotsBusiness shows which directories matter for the client's trade, gives you the exact details to enter so the name, phone and address match everywhere, and tracks which ones are done. You or your team submit them; LotsBusiness doesn't submit listings for you. If you want listings pushed for you, Durable and Yext do that.
- Update once. New hours or a new phone number show on the website and the client's LotsBusiness listing straight away.
How agencies work here. One workspace holds every client and your team, with admin, manager and viewer roles and unlimited team members. A client can get access to their own business only and never sees your other clients. When a draft is ready, send an approval link: the client opens the site and details with no account and approves or asks for changes, and you see the answer in the dashboard. When a client wants to own everything, a hand-over moves the business, its website and its domain to the client's own account and plan, and you can ask to keep manager access if they agree. Run several workspaces if you keep teams or brands apart. Each site can hide the "Made with LotsBusiness" line; approval links and the dashboard carry the LotsBusiness name. More on the agencies page.
Price. Starter covers 1 business for $120 a year ($10 a month) or $19 monthly. Pro covers 5 for $390 a year ($6.50 per client a month) or $59 monthly. Business covers 25 for $1,290 a year ($4.30 per client a month) or $199 monthly. Extra clients cost your plan's rate, and pay as you go is $20 per business a month from LotsTech Credits. Every feature is on every paid plan, team members and mailboxes are unlimited, and Pro and Business include LotsNotes Pro. You bill your clients whatever you like; we bill you, not them. Every business starts with a free directory listing. Full details on pricing.
Where it fits less well. If a client needs an online store, a big app marketplace, or a designer's drag-and-drop canvas, a builder like Wix Studio or Squarespace goes further on design range. If you need the whole platform under your own domain and brand, Duda's White Label plan and 10Web's Agency Core go deeper.
2. Duda: the white-label platform agencies already know
Duda is built for businesses that sell websites to other businesses, and it shows. Plans unlock the platform, and sites are added on top: Basic is $19 a month (1 site), Team $29 (1 site, 3 team seats), Agency $52 (4 sites, 6 seats) and White Label $149 (4 sites, 6 seats), billed yearly, with a 14-day trial. Each extra site is $17 a month or $168 a year on Team and above ($19 or $171 on Basic).
- Real strengths. Unlimited client accounts with role-based permissions on Team and above, on-canvas site comments, reusable templates and sections across clients, an API on Custom, and MCP access from the Agency plan. On White Label, the whole platform (editor, dashboard, preview pages and platform emails) runs under your brand and domain. That is deeper white-label than anything else here except 10Web.
- What it costs per client. At 5 clients on Agency: $624 plus one extra site at $168 is $792 a year, $13.20 per client a month. At 25 clients: $624 plus 21 extra sites is $4,152 a year, $13.84 per client a month. White Label at 25 clients comes to $17.72.
- What you add yourself. Business email and Google Business Profile management aren't on Duda's pricing page; plan on a separate email provider per client. An AI Visibility add-on starts at $19 a month.
Pick Duda if white-label is the product you sell and your clients pay you enough per site to cover it.
3. Wix Studio: design range and client handovers
Wix Studio is Wix's platform for designers, developers and marketers who build for clients. It has a centralized workspace for client sites, billing, subscriptions and support tickets, real-time co-editing with custom roles and permissions, customizable client handovers, and lets clients update content without touching the design. Design range, CSS access and the Wix app market are its strengths.
Wix says its prices and currency vary by location, so I'm not quoting them here; check the Studio plans in your own region. Business email on Wix means buying Google Workspace, and the Google Business Profile isn't on the Studio page.
Pick Wix Studio if your clients pay for design and you want an editor your designers enjoy.
4. 10Web: WordPress sites with a full reseller dashboard
10Web builds WordPress sites with an AI builder and hosts them. The agency plans are its cheapest per site: Agency Starter is $42.50 a month billed yearly ($510 a year) for 10 sites, and Agency Core is $80 a month ($960 a year) for 20 sites plus extra sites at $4 each a month. Agency Pro is custom, from $2.50 a site for 50 or more.
- Real strengths. Agency Core adds a branded dashboard and website builder and lets you bill clients through Stripe or PayPal, with a 7% 10Web billing fee. You get full WordPress, staging, daily backups and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- What it costs per client. 5 clients on Agency Starter: $8.50 a month each. 25 clients on Agency Core: about $4.00 a month each.
- What you add yourself. Business email and Google Business Profile tools aren't on the pricing page.
Pick 10Web if you want WordPress and want to resell under your own brand with client billing built in.
5. GoDaddy Airo: many sites on one account
GoDaddy's Airo builder prices per account with a site cap: Starter $9.99 a month (1 site), Professional $24.99 (up to 10 sites) and Ultimate $99.99 (up to 50 sites), billed annually. GoDaddy says annual plans get "an extra discount on your first year", and the page doesn't show the renewal price. A free domain comes with any paid plan.
- Real strengths. Professional and Ultimate add a Google Business Profile connector alongside Facebook, Instagram and Mailchimp, plus bookings and payments. Ultimate is the agency plan: team collaboration, handing finished projects to clients, GitHub sync and cloning projects. Many clients already have their domain at GoDaddy.
- What it costs per client. 5 clients on Professional: $5.00 a month each. 25 clients on Ultimate: $4.00 a month each, first-year price.
- What you add yourself. Email is Microsoft 365, sold per mailbox: from $1.99 a mailbox a month for the first one-year term on Email Essentials, then auto-renew pricing applies to each mailbox. Three mailboxes for each of 25 clients adds about $149 a month in year one.
Pick GoDaddy if your clients are already there and you want many sites on one account.
6. Squarespace: polished design, and a partner program for freelancers
Squarespace is priced per site: Basic $19 a month, Core $29, Plus $49 and Advanced $99, billed yearly ($25, $39, $65 and $139 monthly). There's no free plan. Core and above include one Google Workspace account free for the first year if you register or connect a domain; after that it renews at Google's standard rate, and extra users are billed at the standard rate.
Its Circle program for freelancers and agencies is free to join and gives 10% to 25% off new annual subscriptions, free trials extended from 3 to 12 months and commissions on new subscriptions, rising as you build more sites. Squarespace doesn't list white-label or Google Business Profile tools on these pages.
Pick Squarespace if your clients want its look and you build a handful of sites a year.
7. Durable: listings done for the owner, plus CRM and bookings
Durable is priced per business: Launch is $22 a month billed yearly ($25 monthly) and Grow is $41 ($49 monthly), with a free preview plan. The paid plans include the website, hosting, a free domain (up to $20 on Launch, $40 on Grow), the Google Business Profile, local directory listings, a built-in CRM, bookings, lead replies and Google review replies; Grow adds unlimited team members and site translation.
- Real strengths. Durable puts the business on directories for you, which LotsBusiness doesn't do. It also bundles a CRM and bookings.
- For agencies. Durable doesn't list an agency plan or white-label on its pricing page. Its FAQ says you transfer a website by adding users and changing the account and billing settings. At $22 a business, 25 clients cost $6,600 a year.
Pick Durable if your client is one owner who wants listings submitted for them and a CRM in the same place.
8. Hostinger Website Builder: the lowest upfront price, on a 48-month term
Hostinger's builder is the lowest price on this list if you can prepay four years. Premium is $2.49 a month ($119.52 upfront for 48 months, up to 3 sites) and renews at $10.99 a month. Unlimited is $3.49 a month ($167.52 upfront for 48 months, unlimited sites) and renews at $16.99 a month. All plans are paid upfront. Mailboxes (1GB each) are free for the first year, then $0.59 a mailbox a month, and the domain is free for one year.
For an agency, that means one account, very low cost per site, and a bill that grows once the free mailbox year ends: 3 mailboxes for each of 25 clients is about $44 a month from year two. Client roles, approvals and hand-over aren't listed on the builder page.
Pick Hostinger if price per site matters most and you're comfortable paying four years upfront.
Also on my list
- B12 suits professional service firms more than agencies: the Website plan is $24 a month, a custom email address starts on Website + Client Engagement at $78 a month (monthly prices), and B12 offers a do-it-for-you package.
- Yext isn't a website builder, but it's what agencies reach for when listings must be pushed automatically: it sends updates to 200+ publishers, including Google and Apple Maps.
How to choose
- You sell white-label as the product: Duda (White Label) or 10Web (Agency Core).
- Your clients pay for design: Wix Studio or Squarespace.
- Your client wants listings submitted for them, one business at a time: Durable.
- You want the lowest price per site and can prepay four years: Hostinger.
- Your clients already live at GoDaddy: GoDaddy Airo Ultimate.
- Every client needs a website, Google, email at their own name and a clean hand-over, for one price per client: LotsBusiness, from $4.30 per client a month.
Run your clients from the AI assistant you already use
Everything above works in the LotsBusiness dashboard. If your team already works in ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant, connect it once and it works across every client in your workspace, within your role, and shows a preview before anything goes live. Setup takes a minute on the connect page (MCP server https://api.lots.business/mcp, sign in with your account, no key). Then ask in plain words:
Add these five new clients from their current websites, draft a site for each from a design for their trade, and send me approval links for the ones that are ready. Then tell me which clients still have no Google Business Profile.
Behind that, the assistant adds each business, builds the site from a design, runs the quality check and creates the approval links. Publishing, Google posts and hand-overs wait for your go-ahead.
FAQ
What is the best website builder for agencies with local clients?
It depends on what you sell. For a website plus Google Business Profile steps, business email and a clean hand-over in one price per client, LotsBusiness costs $4.30 per client a month on its 25-client plan. For full white-label, Duda or 10Web. For design range, Wix Studio or Squarespace. For listings submitted for the owner, Durable.
Which website builder is cheapest for agencies?
On price per site alone, Hostinger is lowest if you prepay 48 months, and GoDaddy Airo Ultimate and 10Web Agency Core come to about $4 a site a month. Check what renews when and what you still add per client, such as email. LotsBusiness includes email with unlimited mailboxes and the Google profile steps in its $4.30 per client.
Which builders let me white-label the platform for clients?
Duda's White Label plan ($149 a month billed yearly) puts the editor, dashboard and platform emails under your brand and domain. 10Web's Agency Core adds a branded dashboard and builder with client billing. LotsBusiness lets each site hide the "Made with LotsBusiness" line, while approval links and the dashboard carry the LotsBusiness name.
Can I hand a finished website over to the client?
Yes, on several. LotsBusiness moves the business, website and domain to the client's own account and plan. Wix Studio has customizable client handovers, GoDaddy Airo Ultimate lets you hand off finished projects, and Durable transfers a site through account and billing settings.
Does LotsBusiness submit directory listings for my clients?
No. It shows which directories matter for each client's trade, gives you the exact details to enter, and tracks progress. You or your team submit them. Durable and Yext submit listings for you.
Will my clients be top on Google with LotsBusiness?
No one can honestly promise that, and LotsBusiness doesn't. It helps you create and verify the client's Google Business Profile so they can appear on Google Search and Maps, and sets up every page so Google and AI assistants can read their services, hours and contact details. Google decides ranking.
