Once connected, Claude can:
- Keep your business record up to date: contact details, opening hours, services, photos, links and FAQs.
- Build and edit your website, and share a private preview before anything goes live.
- Prepare your Google Business Profile for your approval and post updates, offers and events to it.
- Show which local directories fit your business and give you the same listing details, worded the same way, for each one.
- Read messages from your website contact form, reply to reviews and answer questions on your listing.
- For agencies: run every client business from one workspace and send clients an approval link.
The LotsBusiness dashboard does everything an agent does, so you can check, edit or undo any change. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.
You need
- Any Claude plan: Free, Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise
- On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it once under Organization settings, then Connectors (Add, then Custom, then Web), and each member connects it from Customize, then Connectors
- A LotsBusiness account. You can create one during sign-in.
Connect Claude to LotsBusiness
Open Connectors
In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors. Select + Add and choose Add custom connector.
Add LotsBusiness
Name it LotsBusiness, paste the server URL and select Continue. Keep the sign-in settings Claude detects, select Continue again, then select Add.

A LotsBusiness sign-in opens in your browser. Sign in with your email. New users can create an account during this step.

If something goes wrong
- LotsBusiness tools do not appear in a chat
- Select the + button at the lower left of the chat, open Connectors and switch LotsBusiness on for that conversation.
- New tools are missing after an update
- Disconnect and reconnect the connector so Claude reloads the tool list.

How do I connect Claude to LotsBusiness?
Follow the Claude setup above to add https://api.lots.business/mcp. Complete sign-in using the authentication method shown. Then ask “List my businesses on LotsBusiness and what each one still needs”.
Is LotsBusiness in Claude’s connector directory?
Add LotsBusiness as a custom connector: in Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, select + Add and choose Add custom connector. Paste the MCP URL and sign in to your LotsBusiness account.
Do I need an API key to use LotsBusiness with Claude?
No. Claude signs in to LotsBusiness in your browser. API keys are for the REST API, for scripts and your own apps.

No. It lists the directories that fit your business and country and gives you the exact details to enter, worded the same for each. You or your agency submit, and your agent tracks each one.
Do I need a paid business to use an agent?
Every business starts with a free directory listing. A paid business also unlocks its website, Google Business Profile tools, directory list and business email. See the pricing page for details.
