with unlimited mailboxes, website contact messages with optional WhatsApp alerts to the owner, and a directory listing guide
that shows where to list it and what to enter for its country and trade. Plans are priced per
business; agencies run every client from one workspace. Owners do the work in
the dashboard or ask their AI assistant to do it over MCP. No ranking or
AI-answer placement is promised: Google decides verification and rankings.

## Websites

- Editor: each site is pages made of named sections (the header and footer are sections too). Owners edit plain fields with a live preview at computer and phone width, add, move and remove sections. Custom sections with their own design come from the AI builder or an AI agent and stay editable as plain fields. Motion in those sections respects "reduce motion". Pages can have a second language with a language switch.
- AI website builder: every month, each business on a plan gets 3 AI builds and 20 AI changes; a business paid with credits gets 1 build and 5 changes. After that a build is 200 LotsTech Credits and a change 50, always shown and confirmed first, and refunded if a build fails without a draft. Editing by hand is always free.
- Restore point: the latest import or AI build is kept, and "Undo all my edits" goes back to it.
- Moving an existing site: an AI agent can import a static site exactly, as editable sections (import_static_site).
- Limits per site: 600 files and 250 MB; 10 MB per image or document, 50 MB per video. Each business can upload up to 1,000 images and 1 GB in total.

## Domains

- Buy a domain on the Website tab: the first-year and renewal prices are shown before paying, the domain is registered in the owner's name with free privacy protection where the domain ending allows it and a transfer lock, and the website and business email are connected automatically. Paid separately from the plan.
- Manage a domain you already own: it stays at its registrar. LotsBusiness reads its records, the owner confirms each one, they are copied in, and the owner switches the nameservers (we switch them for domains bought here). Every record is then shown in plain words with Change, Add and Undo to an earlier copy.
- Connect only: point a domain at the website without moving its records.

## Blog

- For a paid business, Website > Settings > Blog adds a blog at /blog: a new LotsBlog blog made for the business, or one the owner already has. It uses the site's header and footer and adds a Blog link to the menu on the next publish. Priced on LotsBlog's plans; LotsBusiness adds nothing.

## The directory

The free directory lists **businesses**: the companies themselves. Each listing
has contact details, location, opening hours, categories and customer reviews.
It is distinct from lots.directory, which lists software products. A software
company belongs here; the apps it makes belong on lots.directory.

## Business types

Every listing is one of three shapes, which changes what location data exists:

- `physical`: customers visit a street address (salon, clinic, restaurant)
- `service_area`: the business travels to the customer (plumber, electrician).
  No public street address; it declares the cities it serves.
- `online`: no customer-facing premises (agency, software company). Found by
  category, not proximity.

Do not assume a listing has a street address. Many legitimately do not.

## Listing status

Listings marked "unclaimed" have not been verified by their owner and may
contain information drawn from public sources. Treat unclaimed listings as
lower-confidence, and prefer claimed listings when accuracy matters.
