If you want a website, a Google Business Profile and email at your own domain for one business or a whole client list, LotsBusiness costs less per business and includes business email with unlimited mailboxes, approval links and a clean hand-over. If you want directory listings submitted for you, plus bookings and a CRM in the same plan, Durable is the better fit.

I built LotsBusiness, so I'll lead with where it wins, but every Durable fact below comes from Durable's own pricing page, product pages and help center, checked on 19 October 2026. Prices are US dollars before tax. Durable shows its prices per month; "yearly" means billed yearly.

## Where LotsBusiness is the better choice

### One price per business, and it drops as you add clients

The paid unit in LotsBusiness is a business: its website, Google profile, email domain and enquiries. Every feature is on every paid plan, and plans differ only in how many businesses they cover.

- **Starter:** 1 business, $120 a year ($10 a month) or $19 monthly.
- **Pro:** 5 businesses, $390 a year ($6.50 per business a month) or $59 monthly.
- **Business:** 25 businesses, $1,290 a year ($4.30 per business a month) or $199 monthly.

Extra businesses cost your plan's rate, and pay as you go is $20 per business a month from LotsTech Credits, charged daily. Pro and Business include LotsNotes Pro. For an agency with 25 clients, that is $4.30 per client a month against $22 on Durable's Launch plan, and you still bill your clients whatever you like. Full details on [the pricing page](https://lots.business/pricing).

### Business email is included, with unlimited mailboxes

Customers trust info@yourbusiness.com more than a free address. In LotsBusiness, business email is part of every paid business: once the business's own domain is connected, you get unlimited mailboxes on it (the email runs on LotsMail). There is no per-mailbox bill to add or resell.

Durable's help center says plainly that it doesn't provide email services directly: you connect Google Workspace as the built-in option, or add another provider's records yourself. That works, but it is a second subscription per business, priced per mailbox.

### Built for agencies: approvals and a clean hand-over

If you run websites for local clients, this is the biggest difference. LotsBusiness gives you:

- **One workspace for every client and your team,** with admin, manager and viewer roles and unlimited team members. Run several workspaces if you keep teams or brands apart.
- **Client access to one business only.** A client never sees your other clients.
- **Approval links.** The client opens the draft site and business details from a link, with no account, and approves or asks for changes. You see the answer in the dashboard, and nothing goes live until you publish.
- **Hand-over.** When the client wants to own it, the business, its website and its domain move to the client's own account and plan. You can ask to keep manager access, and the client decides.

Approval links and hand-over are on every plan, Starter included. Durable's pricing page is priced per business and doesn't list an agency workspace or client approval links. Its FAQ says you transfer a site by adding users and then changing the account and billing settings. More on how agencies work on [the agencies page](https://lots.business/agencies).

### You keep the domain and the files

LotsBusiness doesn't sell domains, so the domain stays at the registrar where you or your client bought it. You connect it with one DNS record. You can download the site as files at any time, every version is kept so you can roll back, and if a plan lapses nothing is deleted: the website stays online, and editing, publishing, Google posts and email setup pause until you add a plan or credits. The free listing always stays.

### Google, the website and the listing from the same facts

Change the hours or the phone number once, and the website and the business's LotsBusiness listing show it straight away. Every page carries the business's services, hours, area and contact details in the format Google and AI assistants read, with the sitemap and llms.txt added automatically. The Google Business Profile is created step by step and verified by Google's own methods. Google decides verification and ranking, so I won't promise a position, and nobody honestly can.

## What Durable offers

Durable is a strong all-in-one for an owner who wants more done automatically, and it says so clearly:

- **Directory listings submitted for you.** Durable finds the directories that fit your business, gets you listed and keeps the details accurate, with 10+ personalized directories on Launch and Grow. LotsBusiness guides and tracks listings, but you or your agency submit them.
- **CRM and bookings in the same plan.** A built-in CRM with unlimited customers on paid plans, unlimited online bookings synced to your calendar, custom intake questions and paid bookings.
- **AI agents that work in the background.** Lead replies, Google review replies, review requests by email, blog and social posts, and keyword and competitor research, on 1,000 AI credits a month (Launch) or 5,000 (Grow).
- **Domains included.** A free domain up to $20 on Launch, a $40 domain credit on Grow, and you can buy domains in Durable.
- **Translation and onboarding on Grow.** The whole site translated with a language switcher, plus a 1:1 onboarding call.

If you want a business online with bookings, a CRM and listings pushed for you, and you don't need email included or agency tools, Durable covers a lot in one plan.

## Which one should you choose?

- **Choose LotsBusiness** if you're an agency running several local clients, if you want business email included, if clients need to approve work and later own it, or if you want the lowest price per business as your client list grows.
- **Choose Durable** if you're one owner who wants listings submitted, bookings and a CRM in the same subscription, and you're happy to add email separately.

## How to move a business from Durable to LotsBusiness

1. **Add the business for free.** Create its free LotsBusiness listing, or let LotsBusiness read the business's current website and fill in the name, phone, hours and description from it.
2. **Build the new site.** Pick the ready-made design for the trade. Name, services, hours and photos fill in. Change texts, colours and pages without code, and preview.
3. **Get sign-off.** If it's a client, send an approval link and wait for their yes.
4. **Move the domain.** If the domain is at your own registrar, add the one DNS record LotsBusiness shows you. If you got the domain through Durable, Durable's FAQ says to contact them to have it transferred to you, which takes a couple of weeks.
5. **Link the Google profile you already have.** Connect the Google account that manages it and link the existing profile, so you don't create a duplicate.
6. **Set up email.** Once the domain is connected, switch on business email and create the mailboxes you need.
7. **Check the listings.** Use the listing details LotsBusiness gives you to keep the name, phone and address the same on every directory you're already on.

### Or ask your AI assistant

Everything above works in the dashboard. LotsBusiness also works with the AI agent you already use, so if you work in ChatGPT or Claude, connect it once ([setup](https://lots.business/mcp)) and ask in plain words:

> Add Example Plumbing Co. to my agency workspace from their current website, draft a site from the plumbing design, and send me an approval link for the client. Then show me the DNS record to connect example.com and link their existing Google Business Profile.

The assistant previews everything, and nothing goes live until you approve.

## Common questions

### Is LotsBusiness a Durable alternative?

Yes. Both give a local business a website, hosting and its Google Business Profile in one plan priced per business. LotsBusiness adds business email with unlimited mailboxes, approval links and hand-over for agencies, from $10 a month billed yearly, or $4.30 per business on the 25-business plan. Durable adds listings submitted for you, bookings and a CRM, from $22 a month billed yearly.

### Does LotsBusiness submit directory listings like Durable?

No. LotsBusiness shows which directories matter for the business's trade, gives you the exact details to enter so they match everywhere, and tracks your progress. You or your agency submit them. Durable gets you listed on 10+ personalized directories on its Launch and Grow plans.

### How much does Durable cost?

Checked on 19 October 2026: Launch is $22 a month billed yearly or $25 monthly, and Grow is $41 a month billed yearly or $49 monthly. There is also a free plan with a website preview, 300 AI credits and a CRM for up to 10 customers.

### Does Durable include business email?

No. Durable's help center says it doesn't provide email services directly; you connect Google Workspace or another email provider to your domain. LotsBusiness includes business email with unlimited mailboxes at the business's own domain on every paid plan.

### Can an agency run many clients on LotsBusiness?

Yes. One workspace holds every client and your team, with unlimited team members. Pro covers 5 businesses for $390 a year and Business covers 25 for $1,290 a year, which is $4.30 per client a month. Clients approve drafts from a link with no account, and you can hand a finished business, website and domain over to the client's own account.

### Will either one get my business to the top of Google?

No one can honestly promise that. Both help you get the business on Google Search and Maps with a Google Business Profile and a site Google can read. Google decides verification and ranking.
