The best website builder for a plumber is the one that gets the phone ringing: a call button on every page, the areas you cover, your hours, and a Google Business Profile set up as a service-area business. LotsBusiness does all of that with email at your own name from $10 a month billed yearly. Durable and Localo are strong on Google and reviews.

Most people who need a plumber don't browse. They search "plumber near me" on their phone, look at the map, check the reviews and call the first one that looks real and open. So a plumber's website has a short job list, and a builder is only as good as how well it covers it.

I checked every builder below on its own pricing or product page, and Google's own Business Profile help, on 22 October 2026. Prices are US dollars before tax, billed yearly unless I say otherwise. Sources are at the end.

## What a plumber's website and Google profile need

1. **A way to call on every page.** On a phone, a tap-to-call button that stays on screen beats a contact page.
2. **The areas you cover.** Google calls plumbers a service-area business: you visit customers and don't serve them at your address. Google's help says to remove your address from the profile if customers don't come to you, and lets you list up to 20 service areas by city or postal code, ideally no more than about 2 hours' drive from your base. Your website should name the same areas.
3. **A Google Business Profile.** It's free, and it's what puts you on Google Maps. Owners and managers can edit your details, post updates and respond to reviews. Google decides verification and where you appear.
4. **Reviews you answer.** Customers read them before they call. Reply to each one, good or bad.
5. **Hours, including emergency call-outs.** Set your regular hours on Google and your site, use Google's special hours for holidays and short closures (up to 6 days in a row), and if you take emergency jobs out of hours, say so plainly next to the call button.
6. **Email at your own name.** jobs@yourplumbing.com reads as a business; a free webmail address on a quote doesn't.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| **LotsBusiness** | $10 a month (1 business) | Trades design with areas served and a fast way to call; tap-to-call bar | Create and verify step by step as a service-area business, or link one, then post | Reviews and replies on your free listing; Google reviews you answer on Google | Included, unlimited mailboxes |
| **Durable** | $22 a month (Launch) | Lead capture and online bookings | Included on Launch and Grow | Review requests by email and Google review replies | Not provided; connect Google Workspace or another provider |
| **Localo** | $39 a month (Single Business, plus VAT) | Website built from your Google profile | The core of the product: posts, tasks, profile protection | Review manager and a QR review poster | Not listed on the pricing page |
| **GoDaddy Airo** | Plan prices weren't shown when I checked | Online appointment scheduling | Not listed on the builder page | Manage reviews from its dashboard | Sold separately |
| **Hostinger** | $12.19 a month on a 48-month term | Build it yourself | Not listed on the builder page | Not listed on the builder page | 2 mailboxes free for year one (Premium) |
| **Squarespace** | $19 a month (Basic) | Build it yourself; home-services tools for booking jobs and getting paid | Not listed on the pricing page | Not listed on the pricing page | 1 Google Workspace account free for year one on Core and above |
| **Wix** | Not quoted | Bookings platform | Not listed on the plans page | Not listed on the plans page | Buy Google Workspace separately |

"Not listed" means I didn't find it on the vendor's own page on 22 October 2026, not that it can't be done.

## 1. LotsBusiness: calls, areas and Google, with email included

I built LotsBusiness for owners like plumbers who want to be found and called, without learning web design. Here's how it covers the list above.

- **A trades design made for calls.** Pick the trades and home services design and it lays out your services, the areas you serve, your hours and a fast way to call, with a "Get a quote" button. Your name, services, hours and photos fill in from your details. Turn on the tap-to-call bar and a WhatsApp button so a customer on a phone can reach you in one tap.
- **Set up as a service-area business.** List your business as one that travels to customers, and no street address is shown on your listing. When you set up Google, the verification address Google may ask for is used only for Google's verification and never copied to your public listing.
- **On Google Search and Maps.** Create your Google Business Profile step by step and follow Google's own verification, or link the one you already have. Then post offers and updates with a Call button. Google decides verification and ranking. Here are [the full steps to get on Google Maps](https://lots.business/blog/how-to-get-a-business-on-google-maps).
- **Hours that stay right.** Set weekly hours and special hours for holidays and closures; your website and listing update within a minute.
- **Reviews.** Customers can review you on your free LotsBusiness listing, and you reply to each one. Reviews on Google you answer in your Google Business Profile.
- **Email at your own name.** jobs@, quotes@ and a mailbox for every van once your domain is connected, with unlimited mailboxes. More in [business email at your own domain](https://lots.business/blog/business-email-at-your-own-domain).
- **Enquiries in one place.** Quote requests from your website arrive by email and in the dashboard, spam filtered.
- **Listed where customers look.** LotsBusiness shows which directories matter for a plumber, gives you the exact details to enter so your name, phone and areas match everywhere, and tracks what's done. You submit them; LotsBusiness doesn't.
- **See what's working.** Visitor stats without cookie banners, plus views, clicks, calls and direction requests on your listing.

**Price.** Starter covers 1 business for $120 a year ($10 a month) or $19 monthly, with every feature included. Every business starts with a free directory listing. Full details in [LotsBusiness pricing explained](https://lots.business/blog/lotsbusiness-pricing-explained).

**What it doesn't do.** LotsBusiness doesn't run ads, take payments, have its own booking calendar (you can link the one you use), or submit directory listings for you, and nobody can honestly promise you the top spot on Google.

## 2. Durable: bookings, a CRM and listings handled

Durable is priced at $22 a month billed yearly on Launch ($25 monthly) and $41 on Grow ($49 monthly). Launch includes the website, hosting, a free domain up to $20, the Google Business Profile, 10+ personalized directory listings, lead capture with automatic replies, a built-in CRM, unlimited online bookings synced to your calendar, review requests by email and Google review replies. Grow adds unlimited team members and a $40 domain credit.

- **Strengths for plumbers.** Customers can book a slot online, and Durable handles the directory listings for you.
- **Email.** Durable's help center says it doesn't provide email services directly; you connect Google Workspace or another provider.

Pick Durable if you want bookings and listings handled in one plan. I compared the two closely in [LotsBusiness vs Durable](https://lots.business/blog/lotsbusiness-vs-durable).

## 3. Localo: Google profile first, with a website from it

Localo starts from your Google Business Profile rather than the website. Single Business is $39 a month billed annually ($49 monthly), plus VAT, with a 14-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. It includes rank tracking for your keywords, a review manager that keeps all your Google reviews in one place, posts and offers scheduled to Google and Facebook, guided weekly tasks, profile protection against unwanted changes, a QR-code poster to collect reviews, and a website builder that turns your Google profile into a site.

Business email isn't listed on its pricing page. Pick Localo if Google Maps brings most of your calls and you want help with reviews and posts every week.

## 4. GoDaddy Airo: describe your business and it builds the site

GoDaddy's Airo builder creates a site from a plain-language description, and you can start free with 50 AI credits a month, no card needed. It can build online appointment scheduling, lets you connect your own domain, manage reviews and social from one dashboard, and export your code any time. GoDaddy offers 24/7 support by phone and chat, which many trades value.

Plan prices weren't shown on its builder page when I checked on 22 October 2026, so check GoDaddy's current plans. Email at your domain is a separate GoDaddy product. Pick GoDaddy if your domain is already there and you like phone support.

## 5. Hostinger: low monthly cost if you pay years upfront

Hostinger's builder is paid upfront for the term. Premium lists at $12.19 a month on a 48-month term ($585.12 upfront) and renews at $10.99 a month; it covers up to 3 websites and 2 mailboxes per site, with mailboxes and a custom domain free for the first year. Unlimited ($18.99 a month on the same term, renewing at $16.99) adds unlimited sites and mailboxes for the first year.

Google profile and review tools aren't listed on its builder page, so you build the call button and service-area pages yourself. Pick Hostinger if the lowest monthly figure matters most. More in [LotsBusiness vs Hostinger Website Builder](https://lots.business/blog/lotsbusiness-vs-hostinger-website-builder).

## 6. Squarespace: polished design, a plan per site

Squarespace is $19 a month billed yearly on Basic ($25 monthly), $29 on Core ($39 monthly), $49 on Plus and $99 on Advanced, with a 14-day trial and no free plan. Annual plans include a free domain for the first year, and Core and above include one Google Workspace account free for the first year. Squarespace has a home-services section aimed at contractors, built around booking jobs and getting paid.

Google Business Profile tools aren't listed on its pricing page. Pick Squarespace if the look of your site matters as much as the call button. I covered more options in [Squarespace alternatives](https://lots.business/blog/squarespace-alternatives).

## 7. Wix: free to start, with bookings

Wix lets you build for free on a Wix address, and a Premium plan connects your own domain. Most yearly Premium plans include a voucher for a new domain free for the first year. Its Bookings platform takes appointments. For email at your domain, you buy a Google Workspace plan.

I'm not quoting Wix prices; check the plans in your own region. Pick Wix if you want lots of design choice and to start free.

## How to choose

- **You want customers to book a slot online and listings handled for you:** Durable.
- **Google Maps brings most of your calls and you want weekly help with reviews and posts:** Localo.
- **You want 24/7 phone support and to start free:** GoDaddy Airo.
- **The lowest monthly figure, paid years upfront:** Hostinger.
- **Design matters most:** Squarespace or Wix.
- **A website built for calls, your Google profile as a service-area business, and email at your own name, in one price:** [LotsBusiness](https://lots.business), from $10 a month billed yearly.

## For agencies with plumbing clients

If you run websites for several trades, each client is one business in your LotsBusiness workspace, at $6.50 per client a month on 5 clients or $4.30 on 25, billed yearly. Send the plumber an approval link to check the draft without an account, and hand everything over when they want to own it. My guide to [client sign-off and hand-over](https://lots.business/blog/client-sign-off-and-website-handover) has the steps, and [website builders for agencies](https://lots.business/blog/best-website-builders-for-agencies) compares the agency platforms.

## Or ask your AI assistant

Everything works in the dashboard. LotsBusiness also works with the AI agent you already use, so if you work in ChatGPT or Claude, connect it once on the [connect page](https://lots.business/mcp) and ask in plain words:

> We now take emergency call-outs until 10pm on weekdays and we're closed on 25 December. Update the hours and add a line about emergency call-outs next to the call button.

It shows you the change first, and nothing goes live until you approve.

## FAQ

### What is the best website builder for a plumber?

The one that makes calling you easy and gets you on Google Maps. LotsBusiness has a trades design with your service areas, hours and a tap-to-call bar, sets up your Google Business Profile as a service-area business, and includes email at your own name, from $10 a month billed yearly. Durable suits plumbers who want online bookings; Localo suits those who live on Google Maps.

### Does a plumber need a website if they have a Google Business Profile?

The profile puts you on Maps and is free. A website adds what the profile can't: a page for each service, the full list of areas you cover, a quote form, and email at your own name. Many customers check both before they call.

### Should a plumber show their address on Google?

Not if customers don't come to you. Google's help says a service-area business, such as a plumber, should remove its address from the Business Profile and list the areas it serves instead, up to 20 by city or postal code.

### How do I show emergency or holiday hours on Google?

Set your regular hours in your Business Profile, and use special hours for holidays and short closures of up to 6 days in a row. If you take emergency jobs out of hours, say so on your website next to the call button so customers know to ring.

### Can a website builder get my plumbing business to the top of Google?

No one can honestly promise that. Google decides where you appear. What you control: a complete, verified Business Profile with the right category and service areas, a fast website with the same details, replies to your reviews, and listings that match everywhere.

### How much does a website for a plumber cost?

From the builders I checked on 22 October 2026: LotsBusiness is $10 a month billed yearly for one business with email and the Google profile steps included, Durable Launch is $22, Localo Single Business is $39 plus VAT, and Squarespace Basic is $19. Hostinger lists Premium at $12.19 a month on a 48-month term.
