## What you can do once connected

- Keep your business record up to date: contact details, opening hours, services, photos, links and FAQs.
- Build and edit your website, and share a private preview before anything goes live.
- Prepare your Google Business Profile for your approval and post updates, offers and events to it.
- Show which local directories fit your business and give you the same listing details, worded the same way, for each one.
- Read messages from your website contact form, reply to reviews and answer questions on your listing.
- For agencies: run every client business from one workspace and send clients an approval link.

The LotsBusiness dashboard does everything an agent does, so you can check, edit or undo any change. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

## You need

- Kimi Code CLI with access to Kimi K3
- This setup covers Kimi Code’s MCP client, not a native connector in the Kimi consumer chat
- A LotsBusiness account. You can create one during sign-in.

## Connect Kimi K3 to LotsBusiness

1. **Add LotsBusiness in Kimi Code.** Run /mcp-config to add a remote HTTP server, or merge this entry into ~/.kimi-code/mcp.json. Preserve any existing servers.

```
{ "mcpServers": { "lots-business": { "url": "https://api.lots.business/mcp" } } }
```

2. **Sign in with OAuth.** Complete authorization in the browser using Kimi Code’s own command.

```
/mcp-config login lots-business
```

3. **Start a new session and verify tools.** Newly added servers join new sessions. Check /mcp, then ask Kimi “List my businesses on LotsBusiness and what each one still needs” before changing anything.

## What to ask next

- “Build a website for my salon from our listing and send me the preview”
- “Post this weekend’s offer to our Google Business Profile”
- “Which local directories should my plumbing business be on, and what do I submit?”
- “Update our opening hours for the holiday weekend”

## Questions and troubleshooting

### How do I connect Kimi K3 to LotsBusiness?

Follow the Kimi K3 setup above to add https://api.lots.business/mcp. Complete sign-in using the authentication method shown. Then ask “List my businesses on LotsBusiness and what each one still needs”.

### Is there a LotsBusiness connector in the Kimi app?

This guide uses Kimi Code’s MCP client. Add https://api.lots.business/mcp there and sign in; it is not a native connector in the Kimi consumer chat.

### Do I need an API key to use LotsBusiness with Kimi K3?

No. Kimi K3 signs in to LotsBusiness in your browser. API keys are for the REST API, for scripts and your own apps.

### What does LotsBusiness cost?

Current plans and prices are on https://lots.business/pricing. Your agent’s own plan or usage fees are separate.

### Does my agent publish my website or post to Google without asking?

Your agent shares a private preview before a website is published and shows you the text before a Google post. You can check or undo any change in the dashboard.

### Does my agent submit my business to other directories?

No. It lists the directories that fit your business and country and gives you the exact details to enter, worded the same for each. You or your agency submit, and your agent tracks each one.

### Do I need a paid business to use an agent?

Every business starts with a free directory listing. A paid business also unlocks its website, Google Business Profile tools, directory list and business email. See the pricing page for details.

### LotsBusiness tools are not available

Check that LotsBusiness is enabled for this session and authentication has completed. Reload the connection or start a new session to refresh its tools.
